Earlier in my post (The Dark Knight) I was talking about Batman vs 2 villians namely Joker and Two-Face. I was wrong. Indeed the villian was Joker and Joker only.
Joker in this Christopher Nolan’s film was evil yet brilliant who turns Gotham City into completely chaos place - even to Batman himself.
While both Captain Gordon and Batman working some plot to catch this criminal and his associates namely Maroni’s - new leader of Falconi’s mafia family and some Russian mobs (?), they were helped by Harvey Dent a.k.a Two Face - former IA turns DA of Gotham City who seen as real hero both by the cities and Batman himself as he succesfully plotting and prisoning most criminal of the city despite they have Batman to do that.
While Two-Face (Harvey) isn’t lost his trademark tosing coins to determine his important decisions, he is a good guy who loves Bruce Wayne’s former girlfriend - Rachel who working with Harvey. So after couple of battles with Joker including setting himself caught by police to spring the trap to the most strongest villian so far, he was caught by Joker along with Rachel to set a trap for Batman - the main target of Joker himself.
Interestingly, all traps are countered on and both heroes and villian suffered massive lost - mostly for the good guys. Joker been captured but both Harvey and Rachel lost their lives and Batman are seen as a criminal, once again. And Gordon, now been appointed as Commissioner as the former (killed by Joker’s cunning tactics to force Batman to unmask himself to the public) had to play a two-faces game - to catch Batman but not to arrest him…
My verdict - 9/10 (surely I wanna give 10/10 but no movie even that perfect, right?)
